One of Carrapateira's two main beaches. Besides Praia do Amado, the beach of the beloved, this beach is "a praia mais amada", the most popular beach. Enclosed by the river of Carrapateira, therefore less accessible and thus more attractive to some.

Always a fantastic place to stay, both in high season and at the heart of the toughest winter days. In stark contrast to the bustling southern beaches of the Algarve, on this beach you can walk for hours and have no conversation, but with some duck mussels.
